Our vision is an improved quality of life for all people. Our mission is to achieve educational, economic and social equity for Hispanic people by supporting the development of Hispanic engineers and scientists. SHPE comprises an organization of diverse professional engineers and scientists who share a commitment to return to our communities the support we were provided. In particular, SHPE strives to support our professional and personal growth, the development of social responsibility, the assurance of educational opportunities for our young, and the long-term achievement of Hispanic self-determination and self-actualization.
