Frequently Asked Questions

What happens with the students that arrive after 10pm on Thursday as far as conference registration and hotel registration?

If students arrive after 10:00 PM they can still check-in at the hotel. Conference registration will resume in the morning so students can just get all of their conference materials then.

Is registration at the hotel?

Yes, registration is at the hotel.

Is dinner provided Thursday, Friday, and Saturday? Or are they on their own?

Dinner is only provided on Saturday during the banquet. We figured that letting people get dinner on their own will allow people to explore campus, it's surrounding area and the city of Columbus.

Is there free parking at the hotel?

There is plenty of parking at the hotel and it's all free.

Is there free parking in the conference area so that we can drive ourselves to and from the conference area?

We will be transporting everyone back and forth between the conference area and the hotel because a parking pass is required to park anywhere on campus unless you are at a parking meter.

How many students total are attending this conference?

86 students will be in attendance along with 11 professionals.

What about lunch on Friday and Saturday? Are they provided or are they on their own?

We will provide lunch on Friday and Saturday and the hotel will provide breakfast for all of the days.

Is there breakfast on Sunday morning?

Breakfast will be provided on Sunday morning.

Will we be able to drive and park for free at the picnic on campus? Or is it in walking distance?

As for the picnic, it's still tentative. We are going to ask everyone when they get here if they would like to have it or just go without it. It is not within walking distance.
